University of Michigan Cancer Center
In this calming reception space, designed by Yellowstone Integrated Architecture + Design in collaboration with the University’s design team, tambour wood partitions are accented with opalescent insets of varying sizes, adding a subtle glimmer and textural intrigue. The gently curved forms, combined with these dynamic details, harmonize to enhance dimensionality while maintaining a serene and welcoming aesthetic. The design strikes a perfect balance between function and artistry, creating a space that fosters comfort and healing.
